Washed, dusky blue wooden box layered with hand painted gossamer papers, embellished with a “medallion” of hand tinted and gilded antique lace fragment, violet blue silk ribbon collar, the metal finial has touches of patina and is encircled with a string of lapis, iolite (water sapphires… love that name) and metal seed beads, crowned with dusky silvery blue feathers.
