There are some sunsets and sunrises… the colors of magical dawn meeting the sea, soft blues with coppered edges and gilded touches…… they are the light on the ocean… not ringing bells or wind chimes, they are at the temple door of the goddess… hand formed bell shaped potter’s clay carved with markings from the ancient Cretan Phaistos disk, recently interpreted as a prayer to the Mother Goddess, bisque fired but did not return to the kiln for glaze. Hand colored with studio materials, intuitively joined to driftwood with hand weaving, stones and beads. The top bead is a soft blue genuine Larimar nugget… stone of feminine power and connection with goddess energies… collected seed, glass and clay beads and single old golden glass bead from the east.
