Beautiful gesture… angel wears a hand made laurel wreath of tiny, cut silk, linen and  velvet leaves in a range of greens on gold base. Her garment made of layers of hand painted laces, brocades, silks and linen cut to follow her form. Textural details were painted onto the lace fragments to add dimension, then touched with gild.The dangle echoes her palette with golden and cerulean blue beads atop a metal cross of  amber and blue rhinestones, gossamer paper reverse. The shape of this slice of reclaimed wood holds angel, wings and gesture as if they are emerging. With raw reverse and old document fragment. Hand painted silvery-turquoise- aubergine silk tie.
